Monsterama

Haven't had a "monster" post in quite a while, so here's a site of "Cute Creeps From Popular Culture." Lots of wacky images. What I find interesting about the pic to the right (from the site) is that the last time I saw Boris Karloff and a little girl together, the girl ended up dead in a lake.

Wow, I'd forgotten about Milton the Monster and all his Sunday morning cartoon pals, Professor Weirdo and Count Kook.

Now, all of a sudden, I'm a toddler again.

What a wonderful site! Thanks for sharing it. I'll never forget my first exposure to a monster movie. The Mud Monster. That hand under the stairs kept me jumping the last few for year.

Can't find The Mud Monster on-line, but shoot, I'd be a-scared of moving pile of mud...

I was really young, but I think it was a silly made for TV movie. My mother was screaming and I pulled my feet up off the floor because I thought his severed hand might be under the couch. I was so happy it was on the stairs in the character's house... but well, I already mentioned the last few step phobia it gave me.

I think it was about a monster. Made of Mud. That's it. LOL.

I found it!!! Guess it was called something else. Wow. Looks like other people were just as freaked by the movie. May have to post about it.

Interesting. You'd think that a pilot that made that great of impression would have been picked up.

The mud-monster movie's IMDB listing: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0235068/
